Elsie Dinsmore Update

I am almost done with "Elsie' Girlhood'.the third book in the Elsie series.  This is better than the first two books in the series. I guess because Elsie is older.  She doesn't cry quite as much. Horace is more tolerable but he still expects rigid obedience. Her little brother, Horace, appears out of nowhere, Elsie spends most of the book with their Aunt Wealthy, a rich widow and meets new friends. She won't even dare defy him behind his back without his consent, not even a hairstyle can change, though she is a young lady.  Arthur hasn't changed one bit. An illness does not stop him. He tries to set Elsie up with a money grubber as revenge fo rnot helping pay off his gambling debt.
